Hey guys! I am here today with Circle Markets review. I will try to give all info about this broker. Circle Markets has been operating since 2016. According to the broker’s website, circlemarkets.com, the broker’s goal is to offer a transparent wholesale liquidity market for traders.

Circle Markets’ head office is located at 8 Falls St, Warkworth New Zealand. The broker has an office also at 1st Floor iCount Building, Kumul Highway, Port Vila Vanuatu.

In this Circle Markets review, you will get all the answers to these questions: Is Circle Markets scam or legit? What are the trading conditions that Circle Markets offers such as spreads, minimum deposit and maximum leverage? How good the Circle Markets’ account types? Is Circle Markets regulated?

The primary criterion that I look for on a broker is regulation. That’s why I will start with the regulation section as I always do.

Regulation of Circle Markets

Circle Markets is the trading name for a group of companies providing forex services. There are two different companies in two different countries.

One of the company behind the broker is Circle Market Limited, which is registered in New Zealand with registered number: 2164379. Circle Markets Limited is a Registered Financial Services Provider, register number: FSP460986. The broker is regulated by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA).

Circle Market regulation

Let’s talk about FMA. They are New Zealand regulator of capital markets and financial services and a trusted source of information for investors.

The FMA is the New Zealand government agency responsible for enforcing securities, financial reporting and company law as they apply to financial services and securities markets.

Additionally, there is a minimum capital requirement for forex brokers and it is introduced in 2016. Forex brokers will be required to hold net tangible assets amounting to at least $1,000,000.

If we compare to other countries, the minimum capital requirement for an obtaining a forex broker license is $20 million in the USA; CHF 20 million in Switzerland, EUR 1 million in Cyprus and 730 000 EUR in the UK.

Moreover, Circle Markets is a member of the FSCL (Financial Services Complaints Limited). The FSCL has an independent not-for-profit External Dispute Resolution (EDR) scheme. So, the broker protects clients’ funds with this scheme.

Another company behind the broker is Circle Markets VU Limited, which is registered and licensed in Vanuatu with registered number: 40389. The company is licensed by the VFSC (Vanuatu Financial Services Commission).

There are various account types offered by Circle Markets. You can choose your trading account depends on your trading platform.

The other account type is cTrader PRO and has $1000 minimum deposit, spreads are from 0.0 pips + $2.5 per 100k USD traded commission and the maximum leverage is up to 500:1.

If you will use the MetaTrader 4 platform, there are three different account types. These are Standard, Raw ECN, and RAW ECN Pro account types.

The standard account is commission-free one and the minimum deposit is $100. Spread is starting from 0.7 pips and the leverage is up to 500:1.

Raw ECN account’s minimum deposit is also $100 but spreads are from 0.0 pips + $3.5 each side per lot commission. The leverage is up to 500:1.

The last one is Raw ECN Pro and the minimum deposit is $1000 for this account type. Spreads are from 0.0 pips + $2.5 each side per lot commission. And the leverage is up to 500:1.

Trading Platforms

Circle Markets offers its clients three trading platforms. These are cTrader, MetaTrader 4 and Fix API Trader.

MetaTrader 4 is the most used trading platform and it is available for desktop and mobile devices. The platform has advanced chart tools, technical indicators, a wide range of Expert Advisors (EAs). Every trader can make their own trading strategy with this platform easily.

cTrader is also common among traders. The platform is becoming popular and it has some advantage tools.

Customer Services

The website of the broker provides a wide range of languages such as German, Chinese, Arabic, Malay, Polish, Nigerian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

It is available to connect the broker with the phone, live chat, E-mail and Skype. The live chat is fast and they are very helpful. When I asked for spreads they respond me quickly.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

There are various deposit and withdrawal options offered by Circle Markets. You can choose from multiple payment options to fund your account, including Bank Transfer, Credit Card, Skrill, Bitcoin, Neteller and PayPal, and PAYEER.

deposit withdrawal methods

My favorite method is Credit Card because there is no commission and the process time is the lowest one.

Conclusion

Circle Markets is a regulated forex broker that provides CFDs on the popular MT4 platform. Trading conditions of the broker are competitive. The broker has advantages and also disadvantages. My advice is if you want to trade with them, open a demo account before trading with real money.
